Ella turned one month old this week. Who said getting older was easy??? Poor thing is all broken out in baby acne. Her doctor said it would get worse before it gets better, and she was right. On top of that Ella has a terrible stuffy nose making it hard to breath, sleep, and eat. She is not a huge fan of the saline nose drops either. Her favorite remedy...to be held by mommy. Can't say that I mind. However, she is a growing girl. She gained 24 ounces in 18 days...weighing in at 8 pounds 9 ounces. Just when we thought nursing was a disaster, she is doing great. Her doctor was impressed! She has even grown out of a few newborn outfits. She is now cooing, rolling to her side, and holding her head up. I guess she will be driving before we know it LOL. We love her to death and cannot believe she has been with us for ONE month. We look forward to many more!
